A minisession is just a simple no-frills session where you get some great photos for whatever you need. It can be for some photos for LinkedIn to some photos with your significant other for the annual Christmas card and everything in between!
As the house photographer for the Pla-Mor Ballroom for over six years, you will get amazing photos at a reasonable price! With the volunteer work I do for organizations such as Miss Amazing, I have experience making my photo sessions fun for everybody.

What to Expect
If you want to meet me in person before your shoot because you don’t know me, we can definitely do that! It can be at a coffee shop or over a Skype video call, whichever you prefer. We can discuss all the awesome shots you want, and the date and time for your session!
Day of the Session
I will show up a bit early on the day of your photo shoot to check if the locations will still work. After checking the locations, I will either begin setting up or reaching out in case we need to change plans.
Other than that, have fun during your session while I capture it all for you! That with what I learn about you at the meet-up, I’m sure I’ll capture photos you’ll love.
After the Session
After the photo shoot is finished, I will get to going through them and editing them as soon as my schedule allows. You will then get a link to a digital gallery to view a sneak peek of your photos within a day or two if the session.
Once I finish editing them, I will upload them to the same gallery and mail you a USB drive with all your photos. I will email you the tracking information as well.
Pricing
I keep my pricing simple because even I don’t like having to price things, so I only charge by how long I’ll be taking your photos.
Frequently Asked Questions
Unfortunately no. Private events require that I be on location usually for several hours and don’t allow for flexibility in terms of scheduling, whereas minisessions are designed for doing more informal photoshoots that can be moved based upon extenuating circumstances.
I do offer competitive rates and am negotiable if the event is for a non-profit.
Unfortunately no. While the ceremony may last only an hour, in my experience I’m on location for at least several hours and I don’t book any other sessions on the day you’re having your wedding so my focus can be capturing your ceremony in the way that it deserves.
Totally! Minisessions are designed for events like family photos. I do shoot on location such as at a local park as I feel that on-location shots are more memorable than studio shots.
If you’re wanting a USB drive though, you need to select at least the Basic package on the Families page.
Totally! I like it when people love my work for them enough that they want everyone in the world to know!
You don’t have to credit me every time you do post. A shoutout once in a while is nice though!
Only within 60 miles of the Omaha area for minis. For other longer sessions I do travel further.
I really do this part-time outside of my day job as a software engineer. Because of that, I charge less because I’m just trying to cover my photography equipment purchases. 😅
Additionally, I don’t take on as many clients and I don’t have as much availability so that impacts pricing.
I only take payment after your photo session is completed to simplify things for you and me.
