Ahh, senior photos. They’re a rite of passage for anyone graduating high school and always will be, unlike someone calling while you were on AOL in the nineties. Unlike AOL though, the photos you get from me will be treasured and held on to by you for a lifetime!

As the house photographer for the Pla-Mor Ballroom for over six years, I have a reputation for quality work at a reasonable price. Along with the volunteer work I do for organizations such as Miss Amazing, I have experience making my photo sessions fun for everybody.

What to Expect

If you want to meet me in person before your shoot, we can meet up at a coffee shop or do a Skype video call. We will discuss what your vision is for your senior’s photo shoot, along with any hobbies or activities you want to include in any photos.

After we discuss the details, we’ll then pick out a date and time for the senior photo session. The time is usually in the evening with sunset near the end of the session to capture the sunset in any shots you may want.

Day of the Session

On the day of the session, I will show up a bit early to the location of the photo shoot to double-check the location for anything and to set up. In addition, I will bring along all the equipment I use to create the style I’m known for. Just in case, I also have a list of family-friendly dad jokes and bad puns to get those natural smiles that we all love in photos!

I personally require a parent/guardian to be present during my senior photo shoots to make sure your senior is comfortable and so you know your senior does nothing you don’t approve of. If you cannot make it to supervise the shoot, feel free to send a signed Chaperone Authorization back to me with the chaperone you designate in your place.

If a parent/guardian/chaperone cannot be present for the scheduled session, it will be reschedule to a time that this requirement can be met.

After the Session

After the photo shoot is finished, I will get to going through them and editing them as soon as my schedule allows. You will then get a link to a digital gallery to view a sneak peek of your senior’s photos within a day or two if the session.

Once I finish editing them, I will upload them to the same gallery and mail you a USB drive along with your complimentary prints (if applicable). I will email you the tracking information regarding the USB drive and prints as well.

Pricing

I keep my pricing simple and transparent to make things easy for you and for me. I’m also ruthlessly efficient with time, so you can be sure you don’t need to spend a fortune for some great photos!

Frequently Asked Questions

What if the weather doesn’t work for us or something comes up?

I offer free rescheduling, no questions asked! I have things come up too, so I totally understand about needing to reschedule things at the last minute.

Can we bring pets?

Pets are totally welcome as long as the location of the photo session allows pets. I have no known allergies, so you don’t have to worry about me!

Can we post the photos you take to social media?

Most definitely! I figure that’s something you will want to do, and I actively encourage it!

Do we have to credit you every time we post to social media?

You don’t have to credit me every time you do post. A shoutout once in a while is nice though!

Do you travel? If so, is there an extra charge?

I do travel. As long as the session is to be done within 100 miles of Omaha, there are no additional charges. Further than that, I charge $0.40 per mile (one-way) I must travel.

This charge is waived if you are in the Sidney and Ogallala, Nebraska areas or at my discretion.

What’s that Senior Group Session I see?

Glad you asked! Simply put, it’s getting your senior photos at a group rate where up to five (5) seniors get all their photos done at the same time.

Each family splits the cost of the whole session. Therefore, the more families that participate the cheaper it is for you!

You seem to charge less than other photographers? What’s up with that?

I really do this part-time outside of my day job as a software engineer. Because of that, I charge less because I’m just trying to cover my photography equipment purchases. 😅

Additionally, I don’t take on as many clients and I don’t have as much availability so that impacts pricing.

When do we pay for our senior’s photo session?

I only take payment after the photo session is completed to simplify things for you and me.
