It’s your big day, and you need someone to capture the moments of the day for you. It’s a little hard to be at the altar and behind the camera at the same time, and that’s where I come in! I’ve done everything from large church weddings to simple weddings on ranches out in the country.
As the house photographer for the Pla-Mor Ballroom for over six years, you will get amazing photos at a reasonable price! With the volunteer work I do for organizations such as Miss Amazing, I have experience making my photo sessions fun for everybody.

What to Expect
I’m a bit of a planner, so I like to go into your wedding day with a plan of what you expect me to capture for the day. This benefits you with you knowing that you and I are on the same page when it comes to the vision of your wedding, and you being able to focus on the love of your life. Planning Session
To start off, I usually have a pre-planning session over coffee at a local coffee shop or over Zoom. At this session, we’ll discuss any and all the shots you want along with any special considerations for your wedding. This is of no charge to you.
We will discuss topics such as the venue for ceremony, the venue for the reception, and where to go to take photos in between. Also on the table for discussion are any backup plans in case of inclement weather. Because this is the Midwest, and the Midwest is known for having all four seasons in one day, this is a good thing I like to do.
Your Wedding Day
I plan to arrive a few hours before the wedding to set up my gear and in case we need to make any last-minute adjustments to the plan. I will also check the after-ceremony locations in case new locations are needed.
After setting up, I will get all the planned shots and then prep for the ceremony. After the wedding ceremony, we’ll grab everybody we need and head out for about an hour to get the post-ceremony photos.
Following the post-ceremony photos, we’ll head on over to the reception. I’ve been taking photos at Pla-Mor for almost five years, so I know the reception photos will be stellar!
After The Big Day
Once I have wrapped up for the day, I will make sure to make at least three copies of your wedding photos. From my experience in IT, this ensures that your memories are as safe as can be. A sneak peek will hopefully be available to you the day after your wedding. The worst case would be the sneak peek being available three days after the wedding.
Depending on my schedule, I should be able to fully edit all the photos in two weeks. As long as full payment has been received by then, I will release the photos to you via a digital gallery.
Along with the digital gallery, I will mail you a USB drive with all your photos and your complimentary prints. I will email you the tracking information as soon as I mail the package via USPS.
Pricing
All wedding bundles are based on how long I will be taking photos for at your wedding. I don’t count my setup and teardown towards the time, and your wedding customization session isn’t counted either.
Every bundle comes with the following: a full digital gallery of all your photos from your special day, a USB drive of all your photos, 15 complimentary 5×7 prints, and 15 complimentary 8×10 prints.
If you do book with me and pay your deposit at least three months before your wedding, I do include a free 90 minute engagement session as an additional bonus except for the Basic bundle.

Frequently Asked Questions
25% of the cost is required to be paid before your wedding date. If the full cost is paid in full by your wedding date you will get 20% off. Included in this price is also a free 90 minute engagement photo session. Most weddings will be either for eight or ten hours.
If I am not paid at least the deposit for my services a month before your wedding date, I will assume my services are no longer needed. No exceptions.
Nope. You’re only charged for the time I’m taking photos of your wedding.
Unfortunately no. I don’t book anyone else on the day of your wedding so I can solely focus on your wedding.
In my experience, you’re going to want some photos after the ceremony and some coverage of the reception.
As long as you book me at least six months in advance so I can plan for any traffic and personal stuff, there should be no issues with that.

I really do this part-time outside of my day job as a software engineer. Because of that, I charge less because I’m just trying to cover my photography equipment purchases. 😅
Additionally, I have much more limited availability than other photographers so I don’t take on as many clients.
