Since 2021 I’ve been bringing my camera out to the Archdiocese of Omaha’s Veni. For those who are new, Veni is a monthly gathering of Catholic young adults in the Omaha area with Adoration and a social afterwards. If I’m not being a chatterbox, you can see me taking photos of all the fun! I figured I have all the equipment from all my Pla-Mor stuff, so why not?

I had a new idea for photos at Veni so my setup and teardown times were even less this month! Now if I can spend more time getting photos instead of talking to people. 😅
Fortunately I didn’t have anything going on this Friday, so I was able not just to get to Veni on time but actually early so I could set up. Now if I got in the confession line a few minutes earlier…
So I got all my other photography stuff done early yesterday and I wanted to ride my bike yesterday afternoon. What better than to ride my down to Papillion and play some sand volleyball and take some photos!

I figured since I didn’t have anything going on yesterday evening, I could come down and get some sweet volleyball action shots. Granted, I should’ve got groceries beforehand but Hy-Vee was nice with no people there.
2024 Lake Day
Man, we really could’ve used a warmer day at the lake but it was still fun nonetheless! I would’ve done more fishing while I was there, but I went fishing that morning so I just focused on photos and chilling instead.

Finally! I haven’t had a free Friday in months so I was able to get a lot more photos this month for y’all! It was a lot of fun, especially since it felt more like fall than summer.

Fortunately the weather cooperated because that snow we got Thursday was a bit of a surprise to us all. It did melt pretty fast though even though we could’ve used more moisture.
